Thanks to Maria for sending this beautiful collage work for our self portrait project. This is our latets in a series of Mail Art projects that we have been sending out to participants during the lockdown. Its been great to see the range of approaches that different people have made to these art projects. Maria sent this collage as a photocopy of her original work. We have re-scanned it to put it online and the results are different to the original and have a punk aesthetc.
As part of TLC St Luke's Art Projects and media art, we are running a one year long project called Breathing Spaces looking into the connections between how we feel and our environment. This unique project is exploring some of Manchester's best Quiet Spaces and using art to notice, engage, create and share what we experience and encounter.
